Precisely dated airphotos 1941 onwards can give clear contemporary evidence on boundaries, land use change, buildings, adverse possession, occupancy, path and track access.

Technical knowhow
Airphoto Interpretation, using detective quality stereoscopic analysis can show sites as 3D models much magnified, then check, sometimes contradict witness statements from their imperfect or biased recollections. Unexpected bonus facts can and do emerge. Serial views can be reduced to a common base, computer displayed plan resulting in very accurate measurements.
